Sithara's father is a Medical Doctor and mother is an Engineer with a MS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering. Both her parents were born and brought up in the United States. Sithara's father owns three medical clinics (America's Family Doctors & Walk-in Clinics) in Tennessee, USA. Her paternal grandfather is a Medical Doctor and grandmother is a homemaker (originally from Telangana). Her maternal grandparents (originally from Kerala) are engineers; grandfather has a PhD in Engineering and grandmother has two Masters Degrees in Engineering. All grandparents are settled in the US.
